Almost 20 years after the publication of the National Curriculum Guidelines for ERER (MEC/SEPPIR, 2004), most schools have no effective guidance on what to do when situations like these occur at school.
Through this digital platform, LABDOC Racial Equity will share studies and content related to the teaching of Afro-Brazilian, African and indigenous history and culture, always seeking to promote education in ethnic-racial relations that values differences, fostering and consolidating a stance against the different modes of violence that racism triggers.

Transformation in education is key to preparing
students to face the challenges of the 21st century. Digital technologies play
an important role in this transformation, offering opportunities for more
personalized and dynamic learning. However, it is crucial to consider
pedagogical intent when incorporating these technologies into educational
practices.
LABDOC is an initiative organized through
teacher laboratories that promote practices related to the diversity present in
classrooms, be it ethnic-racial, gender, social class, religion, among others.
We believe that equity in education is essential if all students are to have
the opportunity to participate fully in the teaching-learning process.
